CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs have announced the launching of www.RileyParkEvents.com, a new website that focuses on the numerous events hosted by the ballclub at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park and many other Lowcountry locations.

Those individuals who see the RiverDogs as a dedicated and creative organization can now be kept up to date on all special events throughout the year, which include events like the annual Hot Stove Banquet which featured former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox and the annual Ballpark Festival of Beers which has exponentially grown over the last few seasons.

"This new website has been in the works for quite some time, and we're delighted to launch it," said Melissa McCants Azevedo, the RiverDogs Director of Special Events.  "Fans of our special events, among others, now have a one-stop spot to find out what else is going on at The Joe, other than our regularly-scheduled home games."

In addition to a lengthy calendar of events, the multi-faceted site offers links to print registration forms and purchase event tickets.  There is a photo gallery that will showcase all of the activities in addition to pertinent information on facility rental and the all-important contact information.

Fans of the Charleston RiverDogs can still enjoy the wealth of information on the club's website, www.riverdogs.com, to find out the team's schedule, nightly promotions, team stats and even to print their own tickets from the privacy of their own homes.

But the addition of this special events geared website provides those fans with more of a reason to be involved with the franchise.

The website was created with the help of MD Design, a local design firm, with KC Rennie serving as lead designer.
