Aces Reveal 2011 Promotional Slate

RENO, Nev.– Twelve fireworks shows, 50-cent hot dogs and dollar ribs, a collection of exciting new giveaways and 14 special events highlight the biggest promotional schedule in Reno Aces history, the club announced today.
A jam-packed slate of promotions begins in earnest during Opening Week at Aces Ballpark with the first KRNV Fireworks Friday on Opening Night, followed by Fleece Glove, Fleece Blanket and Youth Hat giveaways.
Other giveaway items for the 2011 season include Archie Bobbleheads presented by Tech is good, Aces River Tubes presented by Terrible's, Silly Bandz presented by the Northern Nevada Dairymen, Superhero Capes, Beach Towels, Aces Ballpark Replicas, Youth Baseballs and Aces Caps.
Aces Ballpark will be the home to four 50-cent hot dog nights, and 2011 will mark the debut of Dollar Bone Nights, where ribs will be sold for just $1.
The Aces will celebrate their affiliation with the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 14, and on four occasions players will wear special jerseys or hats, which will be auctioned off for charity.
Coming off the All-Star Break in July, the Aces will present Salute to Johnny Cash Weekend, which will feature a Johnny Cash-themed t-shirt giveaway, fireworks, special player jerseys and much more.
Every Sunday will be denoted Kids Day at Aces Ballpark, with fans having the opportunity to participate in "Baseball Bingo," where they can win exciting prizes.
The Aces also will play host to several special events throughout the season, including Girls Night Out, Hometown Heroes Night, Dog Days of Summer Night and Ks for Cancer Night. Exclusive tickets are required for each special event, and details can be found by calling (775) 334-4700.
