Twins win 14th straight
Sean Richardson homered and drove in three runs for the Twins, who have not lost since July 4.
Elizabethton used a five-run third inning to take a 7-1 lead as Erik Lis delivered a two-run single before Richardson cranked a two-run homer.
Twins starter Yohan Pino (5-0) gave up two runs on five hits and struck out seven in five innings for the win. Elizabethton ran off 22 consecutive wins in 1990, according to the Elizabethton Star.
Jacob Jean (2-4) started for the Sox and yielded seven runs -- three earned -- on four hits and three walks in 2 2/3 innings. Aaron Cunningham and Vernon Carter homered for Bristol.
Elizabethton tries to extend the streak at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday at Princeton, while Bristol travels to Greeneville for a 7 p.m. start on Thursday.
