Zac Brown Band Coming to The Dell Diamond
Ryan Sanders Entertainment and JAM productions announced Friday that the Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band will play Sunday, April 17, at The Dell Diamond, presented by Land Shark Lager.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 4, at 10 a.m. CST and are available through the Round Rock Express Ticket office, over the phone at 512.255.2255, or online at www.RoundRockExpress.com. General Admission tickets on the field are $59.50 and $49.50. Reserved tickets in the grandstands are $49.50 and $39.50.
Round Rock Express season ticket holders will have an opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public starting next Wednesday, March 2. Information will be sent to season ticket holders on Tuesday, March 1 with information on how to purchase tickets in advance, online.
"This is just another added value for the people that are the lifeblood of our organization, our season ticket holders," Express General Manager George King said.
The Zac Brown Band has released four studio albums, including five No. 1 singles on the Billboard country chart - "Chicken Fried," "Toes," "Free," "As She's Walking Away" and "Highway 20 Ride." The band has been nominated for seven Grammys, taking home two. The group also leads all nominees for the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards with nine nominations.
Ryan Sanders Entertainment Vice President J.J. Gottsch said this concert could be one of the biggest music events ever at The Dell Diamond.
"We're really excited about this show," Gottsch said. "We've made several improvements in the off-season that make the stadium even more concert friendly, and we couldn't think of a better place for Zac Brown Band to play. With the notoriety of his chart topping hits as well as his huge fan base, The Dell Diamond will definitely be rocking on April 17."
Before every concert the Zac Brown Band host two events - an "Eat & Greet" as well as a "Chill & Grill Party." These events are sponsored by Kingsford Charcoal.
The Dell Diamond has hosted many concerts in the past, including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Jerry Jeff Walker, Kellie Pickler, Clint Black and Tracy Lawrence, in addition to the annual spring musical event, the Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam, and the annual fall musical event, Live in the Ballpark.
