New Assistant General Manager Named for the Hagerstown Suns

March 7, 2016 - Hagerstown, Md - Bruce Quinn, Owner of the Hagerstown Suns, names Brian Saddler new Assistant General Manager of the Hagerstown Suns.

 

Brian Saddler started as the Head Grounds keeper of the Hagerstown Suns back in 2012. Brian inherited a playing field that was rated in the bottom of the South Atlantic League. Since Brian has taken over the ratings have been consistently in improving year to year and the feedback from players, coaches and officials have been just as positive.

 

Saddler is from Colby, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University, where he majored in Horticulture and minored in Leadership Studies and Programs. Brian may not, originally, be from the Hagerstown, Md area but in his four years here in Hagerstown he has intertwined himself in the community. He has done so by helping coach and also serving as a board member at National Little league and marrying a Hagerstown woman. "I am excited to keep everything on the grounds moving in an upward trend" Saddler said. When asked about the new position he continued with "I'm looking forward to the chance to get more involved in the business side of baseball".
