Threshers Announce 2016 Promo Schedule

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Clearwater Threshers have announced their 2016 promotional schedule for all 70 home games at Bright House Field. The season leads off with Opening Night by Regions Bank on April 8 with the 2 Millionth Fan Celebration. New weekly promotions like Taps and Tacos by Tijuana Flats on Thursdays and returning promos such as Dollar Tuesdays fill out the calendar along with giveaways, theme nights, fireworks, and concerts.

Threshers Opening Night by Regions Bank is Friday, April 8, with our 2 Millionth Fan being welcomed to the ballpark. Everyone in the park on Opening Night is a winner with scratch-off prize tickets from Threshers' sponsors being distributed to all attending guests. The 2 Millionth Fan will receive a generous prize package including Threshers season tickets for life, a personalized jersey and first pitch, four tickets to a Phillies 2017 Spring Training game, the use of a suite for a Threshers game, a tab at the Tiki Bar and gift certificate for Diamond Outfitters, a foursome in the Threshers Golf Outing, and much more. When the milestone is reached pregame, the celebration and fanfare at the west gate pregame will be marked with a balloon drop. The festivities will continue post-game with fireworks and a concert from local favorites Smooth D and the Hunks.   

Thursday nights at Bright House Field are now Taps and Tacos by Tijuana Flats with Local Craft Brews. Tijuana Flats will be offering their signature tacos from a food cart in the new beer garden on the left field concourse featuring 20 taps of local craft beers and life-size games. The value is even better with half-price on all beverages in the ballpark, including soft drinks and craft beers.

Debuting this season are Threshers Free Shirt Fridays. At nine Friday night games, the Threshers will be giving away designer T-Shirts. These free shirts are themed and unique, offering a great collectible opportunity for Threshers fans.

Returning weekly promotions are Sunday Brunch at the Ballpark by Bright House Networks, Feeding Frenzy Mondays - with BBQ and Wing Fest competitions, Dollar Tuesdays by Regions Bank, Senior Day Wednesdays, and Fireworks on Saturdays. The Threshers Summer Concert Series by Leinenkugel and New Belgium features six Friday night concerts. 

Another full slate of interactive theme nights, complete with costumes and entertainment, are on tap for the season. Fans can be their favorite characters at Star Wars Night on April 23 and Super Hero Night on August 20. Special on-field jerseys will be auctioned after Pitch for Pink on July 23 and Prostate Cancer Awareness Night by Academy Bus on September 2. Also coming back is Faith and Family Night with a concert by The Afters on May 20, Motorcycle Night by Cycle Springs on May 21, Veterans and Military Appreciation Night by Bosley and Bratch on June 4, and the Independence Day Fireworks shows by Budweiser on July 2 and 3. 

A new, outdoor group area is available for parties and outings. Get a suite experience at the Palm Pavilion Patio, located behind section 120, and enjoy included food and drinks in the private patio with a dedicated attendant.
