Carolina Mudcats Single Game Tickets Go On Sale on March 15th at 10am

Zebulon, NC --- The Carolina Mudcats, Double-A Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, have announced that single-game tickets for the 2011 Southern League season will be released for sale beginning Tuesday, March 15th at 10am ET. 

Tickets can be purchased in a variety of ways:  online at www.carolinamudcats.com, via the Mudcats box office at (919) 269-2287 and in person at Five County Stadium.  Fans may use cash, checks or any major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Discover).  For all on-line sales or via phone, credit cards must be used.

Tickets are available for all 70 regular season home games.  Regular season ticket prices are as follows:  $12.50 Cattails Restaurant, $11.00 Premium Field-Level, $10.00 Box Seats, $9.00 Reserved Field Level and $6.00 General Admission.  In addition to single game tickets, package plans including season tickets are still available. 

The Mudcats offer a $1.00 ticket discount for children (7-12), senior citizens (65+) and military personnel in the Box Seats, Reserved Field Level and General Admission sections. 

Children (ages 4-6) receive discounted tickets for $3.00 in the General Admission, Reserved Field Level and Box Seats.  Children ages 3 and below receive complimentary General Admission tickets, Reserved Field Level and Box Seats if a seat is required.  These discounts and complimentary offers do not apply to Premium Field level and Cattails Restaurant and may not be purchased online. 

The Carolina Mudcats will host 70 home games at Five County Stadium in 2011.  The season begins on April 7th and ends on September 5th.  This will be the final season as a part of the Southern League.  The Mudcats will join the Carolina League in 2012 and become the High-A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. 

Important dates on this year's schedule include weekly promotional events: Sunday Kids Run the Bases, Dollar Dog Tuesdays, 2 for 1 Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays and Friday Night Fireworks.  In addition, the area's best Independence Day Fireworks are again scheduled for July 4th.

The 2011 season opens at home on Thursday, April 7th at 7:15pm against the Mobile BayBears, Double-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
