Baseball America's Prospect Handbook, the definitive resource on prospects, includes the Top 30 Prospects in the MARLINS organization, headed by No. 1 prospect MATT DOMINGUEZ, 3b.
Baseball America, is pleased to announce the release of the 10th Anniversary edition of the Prospect Handbook. The 2011 Baseball America Prospect Handbook gives you 900 scouting reports--ranking the top 30 players from each organization--with career statistics and complete breakdowns of their strengths and weaknesses.
With the graduation of Mike Stanton to the big leagues, fellow 2007 draft pick Matt Dominguez like Stanton a Southern California prep producttakes over the top spot on Baseball America's Top 30 prospect list for the Florida Marlins. Dominguez, a third baseman, is regarded as one of the best fielders in the minor leagues and has Gold Glove potential. Dominguez is followed on the list by the Marlins first round draft picks from the last two years, lefthander Chad James and left fielder Christian Yelich, but graduations to the majors have sapped the Marlins' talent level in the minors. The Marlins' system is ranked 29th in the Baseball America Prospect Handbook.
