Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale March 21

Hoover, AL - The Birmingham Barons announced Monday that on Monday, March 21, single-game tickets will go on sale for the 2011 season. The Barons will have 69 home dates scheduled at Regions Park in addition to the Rickwood Classic rounding out the 70-game home schedule.

Fans can purchase tickets online, over the phone or by visiting the Joe Drake Ticket Office at Regions Park Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The ticket office will be open game days from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and one hour prior to game time. All tickets, whether purchased online or in-person, will also serve as coupons to Buffalo Wild Wings.

New for the 2011 season, the Barons have converted their ticketing system to Glitnir Ticketing. For the first time fans can select their seat for any Barons game during the 2011 season played at Regions Park.

When purchasing Barons tickets, fans can choose from three different reserved seating sections for the 2011 season. The Wallace-Burke Club Box Seat section provides waitress services and tickets in the section is available for $12.00. Field Box seats are available for $10.00 while Reserved Box seats are $8.00. General Admission seats are available for $7.00. Children (12-years and younger), seniors (60 years and older) and members of the military receive $1.00 discounts on the listed prices for the reserved box and general admission seats.

Tickets are currently on sale for the 16th Annual Rickwood Classic, to be played at historic Rickwood Field on Wednesday, June 1. All tickets are general admission for $10.00. Group of 10 or more can purchase tickets for $8.00 apiece.

"Perfect 10" packages and "Family Night" groups are among the several discount ticket packages are still available for the upcoming season.

The 2011 Birmingham Barons season begins on Thursday, April 7th against the Montgomery Biscuits, Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, with the home opener set for Wednesday, April 13th versus the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
