Storm and K-FROG Renew Partnership for 2011

The Lake Elsinore Storm and local radio station K-FROG (KXFG) will continue their partnership for the third consecutive season, with K-FROG California Country becoming the official radio partner for the 2011 Storm baseball season. Fans can tune their radios to 92.9fm to follow all the live action. Live audio streaming can also be heard through stormbaseball.com or on Ribbit Radio at kfrog.com. In addition, fans with mobile smart phones can also download a CBS Radio app called Radio.com. Once downloaded, search Ribbit Radio and connect to the programming to stream live on your mobile device.

"We are excited about another baseball season and proud to broadcast Storm baseball on 92.9fm," said Kevin P. Murphy, Senior Vice President/Market Manager for K-Frog. "It is a perfect match teaming up these two family-oriented, community-driven organizations."

Coverage for the all 140 games in 2011 will begin on April 7 when the Storm celebrate Opening Night at The Diamond at 7:05 pm. Broadcasts will begin 15 minutes before each game time. The "Voice of the Storm," Sean McCall will return for his 16th season calling all the play-by-play action. Game times for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday home games are slated for 7:05pm, while Wednesdays are scheduled for 6:05pm. Sunday home games in April, May and June will begin at 2:05pm, while Sunday games in July and August are scheduled for 5:05pm.

"We are thrilled about the upcoming 18th season in franchise history," said Storm Vice President and General Manager Chris Jones. "Thanks to K-FROG, the internet and technological advances, fans can follow the Storm in a number of ways throughout the season."
