IronPigs and Majestic Announce Historic Agreement
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will become the first and only Minor League Baseball club to don official on-field uniforms outfitted by Majestic® this season -- the official uniform provider of Major League Baseball and its 30 clubs. The historic agreement affords the IronPigs the same revolutionary Flex Base uniform system that will be unveiled throughout Major League Baseball and presents opportunities for the team and Majestic to test new and innovative uniform elements in advance of inclusion into the Major League Baseball club uniform programs.

The IronPigs new Flex Base on-field uniform system features include:
- 1) Flexibility -- Engineered with new lighter weight twill technology that enhances freedom of movement and reduces the overall weight of the jersey by 10-20%.
- 2) Cooling -- The lightweight mesh of the patented climate control Air BeltTM and mesh panel ventilation zones on each side of the jersey give players even more air circulation and controlled uniform movement.
- 3) Comfort -- Breathable Cool Base® moisture-wicking fabric technology keeps players dry and comfortable.
- 4) Jersey/Pant Integration -- The patented Air BeltTM and its tapered tail work in tandem with silicone motion grippers in the waistband to eliminate jersey bunching.
An agreement forged by Majestic® Athletic and Minor League Baseball earlier this off-season provides Majestic® Athletic with the ability to outfit the Lehigh Valley IronPigs with their brand-new 2016 uniform system. Majestic® Athletic is also licensed to supply outerwear such as jackets and fleeces - presenting a unique opportunity for IronPigs' players and fans alike to don Major League quality Majestic® apparel from head to toe. Also, as the two organizations are located mere miles apart in the Lehigh Valley, Majestic® Athletic is expected to introduce experimental uniform system components for the IronPigs in future seasons before unveiling those technologies at the Major League level.
The IronPigs and Majestic® Athletic have had a long-standing and fruitful relationship since the club's introduction to the Lehigh Valley in 2007 as the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Coca-Cola Park has been the most visited merchandise store in Minor League Baseball since its opening. The expansive collection of Majestic apparel available at the Majestic Clubhouse Store includes T-shirts and other apparel in addition to the brand-new jersey and outerwear collection.
The Majestic Clubhouse Store is open daily (Mondays-Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and is the official retail store of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. The 2016 IronPigs season is presented by Capital BlueCross.
