In addition to his two years in Clinton, Iowa, the 27-year-old spent a summer in Washington state where he broadcast for the Bellingham Bells, a summer-collegiate team north of Seattle, and spent four years covering University of Miami football, baseball, and men's and women's basketball. Weisman's time at Miami included the opportunity to cover multiple Miami football games as well as numerous ACC Baseball Tournaments and the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament in 2012.

"Mike's a true professional within our industry," said Holland. "He's going to serve as an invaluable asset both behind the microphone and in our Media Relations department. Mike's versatility is what sets him apart, and I'm excited to work with him during the upcoming 2016 season."
