International Powerhouse and Singer/Songwriter Kesha Headlines PickAxe Summerfest 2016

Bowling Green, Kentucky --- PickAxe Entertainments Annual Axe Summerfest is pleased to announce the appearance of Kesha at Bowling Green Ballpark on Saturday, June 18.

Kesha has taken the world by storm since the release of her debut album Animal in 2010, the same year that she was declared Billboard's Hot 100 Artist. The 29-year-old has had eight consecutive Top 10 hits including four #1 singles: "TiK ToK", "Your Love Is My Drug", "We R Who We R" and "Timber" and has sold over 35 million combined tracks and ringtones in the US alone and over 59 million to date. Solidifying her status in the music industry, Kesha's album Animal and has been certified Gold, Platinum or multi-Platinum in 16 markets and was the biggest selling debut album from an international female in 2010 in the UK. Her accomplishments have also been a source of local pride, as she grew just 67 miles from Bowling Green in Nashville.

Other performers include Universal Recording artists Alien Ant Farm on the anniversary of their smash five-time platinum hit album "Anthology". They will be celebrating with us this year and playing all those hits like "Movies" & Michael Jackson's remake of "Smooth Criminal". Those joining Alien Ant Farm will include Twang and Round and Christina Chriss to embody the music, art and spirit of the stats of Kentucky.

Chriss, a veteran to the music world, can be found on any given night singing the national anthem for any one of the major Detroit sporting teams. She has help build the five-piece band Kaleido into a touring juggernaut, sharing the stage with artists like: Aerosmith, Kid Rock, Evanescence, Twenty One Pilots, Weezer, and very own hometown Cage the Elephant.

Hosted at Bowling Green Ballpark, PickAxe Summerfest will take place at one of the signature state-of-the-art facility in Kentucky. In addition to being the home of the Bowling Green Hot Rods Baseball team, Bowling Green Ballpark has been a primary concert venue for over the better part of the last decade. Artists that have performed at Bowling Green Ballpark include Florida Georgia Line, Nelly and ZZ Top.

Prices of admission will range from $65 (ticket price + service fee + tax) for general admission field and lower level seats to $110 all fees included for premium stadium club seats. There are no refunds and exchanges for tickets.
