Lookouts to Play Chattanooga State in Exhibition Game
The Lookouts will play their first game of the season at AT&T Field in an exhibition game against Chattanooga State on Tuesday, April 5th.
The 7:15 P.M. game will be the sixth scheduled match-up in as many years between the two clubs. Last season's match-up resulted in an 11-1 win for the Lookouts.
"We are again looking forward to hosting Chattanooga State at AT&T Field and, like always, are hoping for outstanding weather," commented Lookouts President/General Manager/Director of Global Expansion Frank Burke.
Chattanooga State, a Junior College (JUCO), currently holds a 21-3 record (5-1 in conference), while ranking fourth in the latest NJCAA national poll. The Tigers are building upon a highly successful 2010 season in which they won their conference and district championships en route to making their first ever appearance at the JUCO World Series. Coach Greg Dennis, who is entering his eighth season as the venerable skipper of the Tigers, stated: "This game is a great boost to our program and a thrill for all of our players and staff. We look forward to playing again at AT&T Field."
Tickets for this event or any other 2011 Lookouts home game can be purchased at the Lookouts box office, online at www.lookouts.com, or by calling the ticket office at (423) 267-4849.
