Cabarrus Brewing Company to pour craft beers at Intimidators Stadium in 2016

Kannapolis. N.C. - The Kannapolis Intimidators are excited to announce a partnership with the local brew masters at Cabarrus County Brewing Company. The perfect marriage of beer and baseball will be on full display all summer long at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System.

"The Cabarrus Brewing Company is thrilled to be partnering with the Kannapolis Intimidators," said Cabarrus Brewing Company partner Steve Steinbacher. "Our mission and focus is all about local, and there really isn't anything more local than our own professional baseball organization. We are extremely proud of the fact that the first beer we serve outside of our tap room will be poured at our own local ballpark. We are looking forward to a great summer of local baseball, local beer, and great times with our community."

As the first full scale craft brewery in Cabarrus County, the Cabarrus Brewing Company has won over beer enthusiasts with dedicatedly blended beers. The first beers to be poured this season will be the smooth, light bodied Cabarrus Cotton Blonde Ale and the caramel sweet Boll Weevil Brown Ale with more varieties to come throughout the season.

Fans can get their first taste of the craft beers from Cabarrus Brewing Company on opening night when the Kannapolis Intimidators host the Hickory Crawdads on April 7. Whether fans enjoy the smoothness of a light bodied beer or the savory taste of a stout, Cabarrus Brewing Company will offer fans some of the best beer selections in the South Atlantic League during all 70 Intimidators home games. When fans are away from the stadium and looking for the sudsy offerings of the Cabarrus Brewing Company they can find them at 329 McGill Avenue in Concord.

About the Intimidators

The Intimidators are preparing for the 22nd season of professional baseball in Kannapolis and 16th season as a Chicago White Sox affiliate. Since the team's inception in 1995, a total of 85 players have gone from Kannapolis to the Major Leagues. The team plays at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System located off I-85, Exit 63 in Kannapolis. Single-game tickets are on sale for the 2016 season.
