Homestand Highlights: April 7-14

Opening Night features ticket specials, including the all-inclusive Redbirds Club for $40 per ticket ($15 off), Club Level tickets for $18 each, Dugout Level tickets for $14 apiece, and Field Box tickets for $11 each (all $5 off).

The Memphis Redbirds open the 2016 season at AutoZone Park Thursday at 7:05 p.m. against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Triple-A Brewers), which starts an eight-game homestand to begin the campaign and concludes with a four-game set against the Oklahoma City Dodgers (Triple-A Dodgers).

Thursday, April 7 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

- Opening Night: The first pitch of the 2016 Memphis Redbirds' season comes at 7:05 p.m. and follows team introductions and ceremonial first pitches by new Redbirds owner Peter B. Freund and Pacific Coast League President Branch Rickey

- Magnet Schedule Giveaway: the first 4,000 fans will receive a 2016 Redbirds schedule magnet upon entry

- College Night: College students with a valid ID may purchase tickets in the TruGreen Left Field Bluff for $5, and domestic draft beer will be available for $2 at the Left Field Bar throughout the game

- National Anthem: the Covington High School Choir will sing the National Anthem

                                                        

Friday, April 8 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

- Dueling Pianos: the Dueling Pianos will before in the right field stands prior to first pitch

- National Anthem: the Munford High School Choir will perform the National Anthem

 

Saturday, April 9 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 6:35 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

- Postgame Fireworks: the first fireworks night of the 2016 season

- Seat Cushion Giveaway: the first 1,500 fans will receive a Redbirds seat cushion

- Dueling Pianos: the Dueling Pianos will before in the right field stands prior to first pitch

- National Anthem: Tara Oaks Elementary School will sing in the National Anthem

 

Sunday, April 10 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 2:05 p.m. (gates open at 1:00 p.m.)

- Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday: the first 2,500 fans ages 12 and under will receive a free ice cream treat, courtesy of Prairie Farms, and kids may run the bases after the game

- National Anthem: the Arlington Middle School Honors Chorus will perform the National Anthem

 

Monday, April 11 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers at 6:35 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

- National Anthem: Bruce Elementary

 

Tuesday, April 12 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers at 6:35 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

- King Cotton Dollar Dog Night: fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs at every Tuesday home game

- National Anthem: Fayette Ware Comprehensive High School will sing the National Anthem

 

Wednesday, April 13 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers at 6:35 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

- National Anthem: The Arlington Elementary Choir will perform the National Anthem

                                                                

Thursday, April 14 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers at 11:05 a.m. (gates open at 10:00 a.m.)

- Education Day: WMC Action News 5 will make a special pregame weather presentation to the school children in attendance for the first Education Day of the season

- National Anthem: Collierville Elementary School will sing the National Anthem
