Single Game Tickets on Sale Now

Single game tickets are on sale now for the 2011 Salt Lake Bees baseball season at Smith'sTix outlets including www.slbees.com, Smith's Food and Drug Stores, www.smithstix.com or by calling (801) 325-BASE. The Spring Mobile Ballpark box office also opens today, March 23.

"As we begin our 18th season in Salt Lake City, the Bees are proud to continue offering one of the best entertainment values along the Wasatch Front," said Bees General Manager Marc Amicone. "We invite everyone to the ballpark this season to experience an affordably-priced, family-friendly Bees game beginning with the home opener on April 7."

Bees season tickets are still available and start as low as $8 per game. The purchase of season tickets guarantees seats for both the 2011 Triple-A All-Star Game and Home Run Derby. In addition to single game tickets and season tickets, the Bees will continue to offer two season passes. The Family Pass ($250) admits an entire household to all 72 home games. The Student Pass ($50) can be purchased by any student currently enrolled in elementary school, middle school, high school or college and is good for admission to all 72 home games.

Other ticket packages offered include All-Star Game mini packages, group tickets and picnics, birthday parties, ticket vouchers, 10-game weekend plans and luxury suites. For specific benefits included in these packages, please log on to www.slbees.com or call (801) 325-BASE.

To kick off the 2011 promotional schedule, Papa John's is giving away magnetic schedules on April 8. Other giveaways during the season include LED fans courtesy of Rocky Mountain Power, green jerseys courtesy of Larry H. Miller Dealerships, State Energy Program and Allied Waste, kids t-shirts courtesy of Zions Bank, a Bees baseball card set courtesy of Disabled American Veterans and Bumble bobbleheads courtesy of US Bank.

New promotional nights for the season include Ugly Sweater Night on April 14, the appearance of the Human Slinky on May 20, Christmas in June on June 9-11, and the appearance of Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey on June 25.

Among this season's weekday promotions are Harmon's Family Night on Mondays where fans can purchase a game ticket and hot dog for $5, Kids 12-and-under eat free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays are Wienerschnitzel $1 hot dogs and all beverages are $2.75 on Thursdays. The Bees will also feature two Dog Day Afternoons at the ballpark on May 22 and August 28.

There are nine Bees games with fireworks this season including April 8, May 21, June 11, July 4, July 23, July 24, July 25, August 19 and August 27. Fireworks are presented by Papa John's, University of Phoenix, Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Murray, Larry H. Miller Ford Lincoln Sandy, Larry H. Miller Toyota Murray and Larry H. Miller Collision Centers.
