April 9, 2016

SAN JOSE, CA - Saturday's game between the San Jose Giants and Lancaster JetHawks has been postponed due to inclement weather causing unplayable field conditions. The game will be postponed to the second half when San Jose visits Lancaster in July. Saturday's postponement follows yesterday's suspension, and is the first of the season for the Giants. The series is scheduled to continue at 1:00 PM Sunday in a doubleheader to conclude Friday's contest that was left off in the fifth inning.

If you've purchased a ticket to Saturday's game through the Municipal Stadium box office, your tickets can be exchanged for any future game (subject to availability, excluding July 4 and July 5). Saturday's pregame festivities for Salute to the Military Night, presented by Operation: Care and Comfort, have also been rescheduled for Memorial Day on May 30. Salute to the Military tickets can also be turned in at the Municipal Stadium box office for the continuation of the celebration on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. Additionally, groups in attendance Saturday are encouraged to contact their group representative for more information regarding rescheduling.

In addition, Sunday's regularly scheduled Pepsi Pregame Clinic has been cancelled. Fans planning to attend are encouraged to visit sjgiants.com to sign up for the next pregame clinic on Sunday, April 24.

Both contests Sunday will be televised live on Comcast Hometown Network, Channel 104 SD / 819 HD.
