High Schools, youth leagues to play at Arvest

Naturals' program allows schools, leagues chance to get on professional field

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals offer local high schools and youth teams a program where their baseball teams can play a game at Arvest Ballpark during the pre-season or during certain road trips when the Naturals are not at home.

Several schools from around the region have taken advantage, and this season, the Naturals already have seven such games scheduled, including both Springdale and Rogers schools. The complete schedule is below.

Thursday, March 31st - Greenland H.S. vs. Mountainburg H.S. at 4pm
Friday, April 15th - Springdale H.S. vs. Har-Ber H.S. at 4pm
Saturday, April 16th - Fort Smith Northside H.S. vs. Shiloh Christian H.S. at 2pm
Monday, April 25th - Farmington H.S. vs. Prairie Grove H.S. at 4pm
Tuesday, April 26th - Grove (OK) H.S. vs. Tahlequah (OK) H.S. at 5pm
Monday, May 2nd - Rogers H.S. vs Rogers Heritage HS at 4pm
Tuesday, May 17th - Gravette 13-15 year old Youth Baseball Championship Game at 5pm

Other teams wishing to play a game at Arvest Ballpark can do so by organizing a fundraiser for your team for a Naturals home game. High School teams can purchase 250 tickets per participating team at a reduced rate of $4 each, and sell them to friends and family at the Naturals regular reserved ticket rate of $8. Youth leagues can host a matchup at Arvest Ballpark by committing to 400 tickets. Participating schools or leagues can utilize the program as a fundraiser, everyone gets a great night out at the park for a Naturals game, and the baseball team plays a game on the same field as the pros.

Fans wishing to obtain tickets to watch these games are encouraged to contact the schools directly. Tickets may be sold at the gate on the day of the game, but cannot be obtained through the Naturals' ticket office.
