"Hartford Flavors" Part of Yard Goats Entertainment Experience

Hartford, Conn-  The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced that it will create a special food location highlighting some of the local Hartford flavors at Dunkin' Donuts Park.  Several community restaurants will have the opportunity to be featured at the "Hartford Flavors" kiosk at multiple games during the season. The kiosk is sponsored by the Hartford Provision Company.  In addition to Dunkin' Donuts, Bear's Smokehouse Barbecue, Scotts' Jamaican Bakery, and U.S.S. Chowder Pot IV at all games, Yard Goats fans may select from many of the rotating local restaurants such as Comerio and First & Last Tavern.

 

"There are so many delicious ethnic foods in Hartford and we thought it would be a nice touch to have them represented at the ballpark," Yard Goats General Manager Tim Restall said.  "This will give our fans a wide selection of local delicacies, and will feature a different local restaurant every game."     

 

"Hartford Flavors" will be open at all Yard Goats home games during the 2016 season.  Fans will be informed of which local restaurant is hosting the Kiosk with announcements on the HD-videoboard, LED Ribbon and over the public address system.

The Hartford Yard Goats inaugural season is underway and the Yard Goats are in first place and have the best record in the Eastern League (14-4).  The Yard Goats begin a 3-game series against the Washington Nationals affiliate, the Harrisburg Senators, tomorrownight in Pennsylvania.  Season tickets and 18-game plans are now on sale by calling 860-246-4628.
