Nick Petrucci fueled the Burlington Indians with two home runs as the Tribe beat the Elizabethton Twins 9-5 Monday night at Burlington Athletic Stadium.

Petrucci (4,5) led off the sixth inning with a solo home run and blasted a three-run shot off the light pole beyond the left field wall in the seventh.

Elizabethton (27-6) scored single runs in the first and second inning for a 2-0 lead.

Burlington (13-20) scored a run in the second inning on John Drennen's (3) solo home run to centerfield.

Petrucci, who finished with five RBI's, singled home Niuman Romero to tie the game 2-2 in the third.

The Indians took their first lead in the fifth. Jansy Infante's ground ball sacrifice scored Cristo Arnal.

Petrucci solo shot in the sixth gave the Indians a 4-2 lead.

The Tribe scored five runs on two hits in the seventh. Romero scored on a wild pitch, while PJ Hiser and Nick Weglarz scored on Petrucci's second bomb. Ryan Spilman scored on a fly ball off the bat of Arnal.

The Twins plated a run in the eighth and blasted back to back homers in the ninth. Steven Tolleson (2) and Larry Jones (2) hit solo shots for the Twins.

Hiser extended his hitting streak to nine games with a two-for-three night.
