Ten-Year NFL Veteran and San Francisco 49ers Safety to Host 1st Annual Antoine Bethea Celebrity Charity Softball Game at Municipal Stadium

San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants, alongside Clear Vision Marketing Group, LLC, are proud to announce the 1st Annual Antoine Bethea & Friends Charity Softball Game that will take place at Municipal Stadium on Saturday, June 11, 2016. 

Antoine Bethea will be entering his 10th season in the NFL. His hard work and tenacity helped to distinguish him in the eyes of his colleagues, coaches and fans who awarded him the elite honor of Pro Bowl selections in 2007, 2009, and 2014. In 2014, Bethea was also announced San Francisco 49ers Team MVP. The hard-hitting safety and Super Bowl 41 Champion leads by example, and his accomplishments and dedication to the community are a testament to his perseverance.

The event will feature activities throughout the day, including a celebrity homerun derby, followed by a seven-inning softball game that will feature Bethea, his teammates, and many other celebrities. Some of the athletes that will be attending the game include Ahmad Brooks (San Francisco 49ers), Bruce Miller (San Francisco 49ers), Eli Harold (San Francisco 49ers), Maurice Jones (Retired-Jacksonville Jaguars), Robert Mathis (Indianapolis Colts), Michael Vick (Free Agent) and many more!

The event is designed to be an interactive experience between players and attendees with opportunities to take photos with, and get autographs from the game's participants and be entertained by in-game promotions and giveaways.

"Come out and see some of your favorite players play a fun game of softball," said Antoine Bethea. "At the same time, help me raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank!"

Proceeds from the game will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Second Harvest is a local organization dedicated to ending local hunger. The Food Bank mobilizes individuals, companies, and community partners to connect people to the nutritious food they need.
