Grizzlies announce partnership with Fresno Acura

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies are pleased to announce that Fresno Acura will be featured as the "Official Luxury Vehicle of the Fresno Grizzlies" for the 2016 season.  

The new agreement will shift into full gear this Saturday, April 30 when the Grizzlies hand out replica 2015 Triple-A National Championship rings to the first 10,000 fans to enter Chukchansi Park for Fresno's 7:05 p.m. game against El Paso. The giveaway is co-sponsored by ABC 30.

In addition, 15 lucky fans will receive not only a replica ring, but an authentic championship ring as well. Fifteen randomly selected boxes will include a voucher with instructions on how to redeem for the real thing that evening.  

In addition to the ring giveaway at the ballpark, the Grizzlies and Fresno Acura will team up for an exciting event at the dealership. On a soon to be announced date, the National Championship and Pacific Coast League Championship trophies will be on display at Fresno Acura. Grizzlies players and mascot Parker will also be present with customers and fans having the opportunity to take pictures and relive the championship once more.

"This new partnership with Fresno Acura is extremely exciting for us," said Fresno Grizzlies General Manager Derek Franks. "It's a fantastic example of the type of tremendous promotions that can be done when two first-class organizations come together. Partnerships like this are the reason we're able to provide such a great fan experience at Chukchansi Park."

The two sides will collaborate on an in-ballpark promotion later this season, as well. Should the Grizzlies hit a grand slam during the June 4-12 homestand, one lucky fan chosen at random will win a 2016 Acura RDX. At the risk of tempting superstition, we should point out the Grizzlies have already hit three grand slams this season.

In conjunction with Fresno Acura's 30th anniversary, the Grizzlies are also offering a VIP experience at 30 home games including Phoenix Club or Dugout Club tickets, parking, dinner passes, a complimentary replica championship ring, autographed memorabilia and a stadium tour. Winners will be chosen by Fresno Acura, which will include test driving a vehicle to the game.
