Roster Move: Magill Joins the Blue Wahoos

PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following roster change for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos prior to tonight's game against the Birmingham Barons.

·         Matt Magill, RHP, reinstated from DL; transferred from Louisville

·         El'Hajj Muhammad, RHP, has been transferred to Daytona

Magill, 26, is coming off of Tommy John surgery after three appearances with the Louisville Bats in 2015. He was 1-1 with a 7.90 in three starts with the Bats. Magill made his MLB debut on April 27, 2013 with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He established an 0-2 record and a 6.51 ERA in six starts for them.

Muhammad, 24, is 1-0 for the Blue Wahoos this season with an ERA of 2.57 in six appearances.  

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have 25 active players on the roster.
