INDIANAPOLIS - The Durham Bulls were shut out for the second straight game Wednesday afternoon, falling to the Indianapolis Indians 6-0 in the rubber match of a three-game series at Victory Field.

After falling 1-0 in 12 innings on Tuesday night, the Bulls were blanked once again. The team went 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position, and were shut out for the third time in their last four games.

Indianapolis (14-11) took the lead for good in the third inning when it scored three runs behind a pair of doubles, a wild pitch, two walks and a sacrifice fly. The home side extended its lead to 4-0 in the seventh inning on a sacrifice fly by Josh Bell, and tallied two more runs in the eighth frame on an RBI double by Mel Rojas Jr. and a sacrifice fly by Alen Hanson.

Wilfredo Boscan (3-2) earned the win for the Tribe, tossing six innings and striking out four without walking a batter. Cory Luebke picked up a rare three-inning save, allowing only three hits and striking out four to secure his first save of the season.
