Indians, Ameristar Meats Create Unique Local Partnership

Spokane-based Ameristar Meats to Produce Indians New Hot Dog
May 5, 2016

SPOKANE, Wash - There is nothing that goes together quite like baseball and hot dogs, and thanks to a new partnership between the Spokane Indians and Spokane-based Ameristar Meats, fans will be able to enjoy great tasting, locally produced franks at Avista Stadium all summer long.

"As a local business we are proud to partner with a community-minded organization like the Indians," said Ameristar Meats Vice President of Sales and Category Management Wayne Angstrom. "We are located just minutes from the ballpark so fans can count on always getting fresh hot dogs made with only high quality ingredients."

The first chance for fans to sample the new hot dogs will be at the Spokane Indians TicketBash on Friday, May 13. Single game tickets will be available for purchase that day and full and mini-season ticket holders can pick up their ticket packages from Avista Stadium.

"We can't wait for our fans to try the Indians new custom made hot dogs," said Indians Assistant General Manager Justin Stottlemyre. "When we started the process of looking for a new signature hot dog after the 2015 season we knew Ameristar Meats was the right partner. Not only were we able to create a one-of-a-kind product, but we are extremely excited to showcase a local business that is producing our new hot dog less than five minutes away from Avista Stadium."

In addition to the Indians new hot dog, Ameristar Meats will also be producing all of the bratwursts, Italian sausages, hamburgers, and a new pulled pork carnita that will be used in a variety of products sold at Avista Stadium.
