Durham Hosts Buffalo, Looks To Regain Momentum

Bulls will try to shake off two-hit performance
May 10, 2016

The Durham Bulls host the Buffalo Bisons for the second game in a four-game series at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at the DBAP.

The Bulls are coming off of a two-hit loss to Buffalo, and will look to get a win back in tonight's game, which is presented by Northwestern Mutual.

Left-handed top prospect Blake Snell (1-3) will take the ball for Durham to start the game. Snell will also be looking for a bounce-back game, after allowing three runs and five walks in his last outing for the Bulls.

Snell starts opposite the Bisons' Drew Hutchison (0-1), a right-hander who also struggled a bit in his last outing. Hutchison allowed four runs on five hits and three walks in a no decision against Syracuse his last time out.

Durham's offense hits reset after its' two-hit performance last night. The Bulls had 35 hits in their previous three games, and didn't have a hit total lower than 11 in a single game. Taylor Motter will look to replicate his performance from 2015 against the Bisons, when he hit .333 with a double and a home run in five games.
