Salute To K.C. Royals, Ag Night & Thirsty Thursday headline series

The Storm Chasers return home to Werner Park on Monday, May 23 to begin an eight-game homestand. Omaha opens the week's slate with a four-game set versus the Albuquerque Isotopes with Peanut Free Night presented by the Asthma and Allergy Center, followed by Visit Missouri Salute to K.C. Royals Night, Farm Bureau Ag Night and Wiener Wednesday, as well as Teacher Appreciation Night and Thirsty Thursday.

 

ASTHMA & ALLERGY CENTER PEANUT FREE NIGHT - Monday, May 23 at 6:35 p.m.

The homestand begins with Peanut Free Night presented by the Asthma and Allergy Center. All peanut-related items will not be served at Werner Park that evening, while the ballpark will be thoroughly cleaned prior to that night's contest to remove any peanut residue to ensure a safe environment for those with peanut allergies.

 

VISIT MISSOURI SALUTE TO K.C. ROYALS NIGHT with PAINT AT THE PARK on TALLBOY TUESDAY - Tuesday, May 24 at 6:35 p.m.

The Royals' 2015 World Series trophy will be on display at Werner Park, with fans able to get a picture with the trophy out on the concourse. Fast Pass Access is available as part of a Salute to K.C. Royals Night Ticket Package that can be purchased at www.omahastormchasers.com/themenights. In addition, the Royals' mascot Sluggerrr will be at the ballpark that evening. Prior to that evening's contest, two local organizations will also be awarded grants by Royals Charities. Fans who pre-register will also have a chance to Paint at the Park, with a 90 minute session with Pinot's Palette instructors. The package includes a canvas, art supplies, access to a private wine bar, and a reserved box seat to that evening's game. Tallboy Tuesday specials will also be available at the ballpark, which includes Bud Light, Busch Light and Lime-A-Rita 25 ounce tallboy cans and 24 ounce domestic drafts for $5 each.

FARM BUREAU AG NIGHT with WIENER WEDNESDAY and BARK AT THE PARK - Wednesday, May 25 at 6:35 p.m.

Ag Night presented by Farm Bureau returns to Werner Park. Fans in attendance will have a chance to win prizes throughout the evening for various in-game events, including a can of corn for every outfield catch. A petting zoo will also be at the ballpark that evening for fans to enjoy next to the Borsheims Wiffeball Diamond. Wiener Wednesday specials will also be in effect, with full-size Hebrew National hot dogs available for just 25 cents each. Every dog has its day with Bark in the Park, allowing man's best friend to join their owners for a ballgame on the right field berm. Pre-registration is available for Bark in the Park at www.omahastormchasers.com allowing fans to skip the line at the ballpark that evening.

TEACHER APPRECIATION NIGHT with MOTORSPORTS NIGHT on THIRSTY THURSDAY - Thursday, May 26 at 6:35 p.m.

The four-game series concludes with Teacher Appreciation Night, with Teacher of the Year award winners honored on-field prior to the game. It is also Motorsports Night at the ballpark, which will feature several racecars out on the concourse for fans to walk up to. Thirsty Thursday drink specials begin when gates open at 5:30 p.m., including $2 Bud & Bud Light cans and draft beers, in addition to $1 Pepsi products.

The homestand will continue with a four-game series against the El Paso Chihuahas between May 27-30. Among the promotions scheduled for that series include Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks (May 27), an Alex Gordon Jersey Cooler Giveaway for the first 1,500 fans (May 28), and Huber Chevrolet Fireworks on U.S. Bank Family FUNday (May 29).
