Warthogs to hold anthem auditions

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Winston-Salem Warthogs, Class A Advanced affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, will be holding open auditions for National Anthem singers for the 2007 season. The tryouts will be held at Ernie Shore Field from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 24. The event will be held rain or shine.

Individuals, musicians and groups of all kinds are encouraged to attend. Weekday auditions can be scheduled if you are unavailable on the tryout date.

The Winston-Salem Warthogs open the 2007 season by welcoming the reigning Carolina League champion Kinston Indians to Ernie Shore Field on April 5.
