Milone, Walker named Batavia Downs POTW
Rochester Red Wings pitcher Tommy Milone and outfielder Adam Brett Walker have been named the Batavia Downs Gaming and Racetrack Co-Players of the Week for the period of May 16-22. Walker was also named the International League Batter of the Week for the same period.
Milone pitched a total of 15 innings in his two starts, allowing four earned runs and striking out 12 without a walk. The May 16 game was tied 2-2 when he left, a game the Wings lost in extra innings to Charlotte. On May 22, Milone picked up the win as the Wings rallied to beat Durham 3-2. Milone has a 2-0 record with a 2.18 ERA since being optioned from Minnesota May 7.
