April 19, 2011
INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Indians fans attending games at Victory Field will have a new gathering spot as they enter the ballpark this season, the PNC Plaza. The area is located just inside the main entrance to Victory Field at the corner of West and Maryland Streets.

The five year partnership includes title sponsorship of the PNC Plaza, branding throughout the centerfield concourse, on picnic tables and on directional signage. PNC will also sponsor four interactive games for fans including Speed Pitch, a Prize Spin Wheel, the Home Run Bounce and Rowdie's Water Gun Fun.

"PNC is committed to provide opportunities for a comprehensive development of the communities we serve," said Jeff Kucer, Senior Vice President of Client and Community Relations at PNC, "this partnership with the Indianapolis Indians presents us with that possibility."

The partnership with the Indians reinforces PNC Bank's continued commitment to the community and the PNC Grow Up Great Program, an unprecedented 10-year, $100 million school readiness initiative to help prepare children from birth to age five for success in school and life. The Indians will host a PNC Bank Community Day which includes 1,000 tickets that will be provided to various early childhood education centers.

"The Indians are excited to have PNC Bank as our corporate partner of the PNC Plaza in centerfield," said Indians Vice President and General Manager Cal Burleson. "Victory Field is known as a venue that is family-friendly, and the PNC Plaza provides families with entertainment opportunities for kids of all ages. We appreciate the commitment that PNC Bank has made to our community, and are pleased to be able to elevate their efforts at Victory Field."
