RoughRiders total all-time four-day attendance record
FRISCO, TEXAS (May 23, 2016) - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, drew a four-day attendance record over the weekend at Dr Pepper Ballpark, totaling 42,767 fans Friday through Monday. With 10,587 fans on Monday, the RoughRiders surpassed the previous four-day record of 42,360 from May 18-21, 2012.
The Riders drew 10,851 on Friday night, 10,950 on Saturday, 10,379 on Sunday, before the 10,587 on Monday. The following are the highest five totals for a four-game stretch in team history:

The weekend marks a continuation of the marked improvement in attendance for the RoughRiders over the past two seasons. The Riders drew the fourth-largest crowd in team history on May 1, packing Dr Pepper Ballpark with 11,842 fans. The RoughRiders have drawn eight of the top ten crowds in the 14-year history of Dr Pepper Ballpark during the past two seasons, including the biggest ever of 11,927 on June 12, 2015.
The Riders hit the road for a six-game trip, starting with three games in Tulsa Tuesday through Thursday, beginning with a 7:05 p.m. tilt at ONEOK Field against the Drillers tomorrow night.
The RoughRiders return home next Tuesday, May 31 to begin a six-game homestand against the Tulsa Drillers and the Springfield Cardinals. The homestand includes Superhero Night on Saturday, June 4th.
