Storm Chasers Series Highlights: June 4-7

The first-place Storm Chasers are set to return home to Werner Park on Saturday, June 4 for a four-game series against the Nashville Sounds. The homestand begins with a bang with a McDonald's Kids Batting Helmet Giveaway with Kugler Vision Post-Game Fireworks (June 4), Omaha World-Herald Autograph Cards on U.S. Bank Family FUNday (June 5) and a Five Dollar Day (June 7).

 

McDonald's KIDS BATTING HELMET GIVEAWAY with MYSTERY BALL AUCTION and KUGLER VISION POST-GAME FIREWORKS- Saturday, June 4 at 7:05 p.m.

The first 1,500 kids 12 and under to arrive at Werner Park when the gates open at 6 p.m. will receive a Kids Batting Helmet Giveaway courtesy of McDonald's. Fans will also want to stay late to catch the Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular! presented by Kugler Vision. An Autographed Mystery Ball Auction will also take place during the game. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase one ball for $30 or two for $50, while supplies last. The identity of the autograph on the ball, which can range from any current or former Storm Chasers player, Kansas City Royals player, or from many other MiLB or MLB teams, will not be revealed until fans remove the ball from their bags. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Chasers Charities, the Storm Chasers 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

OMAHA WORLD-HERALD AUTOGRAPH CARDS GIVEAWAY on US BANK FAMILY FUNDAY - Sunday, June 5 at 2:05 p.m.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates of Werner Park when gates open at 1:00 p.m. will receive the second edition of the Omaha World-Herald Autograph Card Set, featuring Hunter Dozier, Andrew Edwards, Brooks Pounders and Parker Morin, who are scheduled to be available for autographs from 1:00-1:30 p.m. Fans will also be able to be a part of Casey's Birthday Bash as the Storm Chasers celebrate their mascot Casey's birthday along with over 20 mascots from local teams, business, and charities. The afternoon will also include the traditional U.S. Bank Family FUNday activities, including clowns, balloon artists, face painting and a live reptile show from Wildlife Encounters. The Hardees Kids Run The Bases is also scheduled to take place after the game, allowing fans 12 and younger to circle the same bases as Storm Chasers players. Fans who bring two Hy-Vee labeled canned good items to the ballpark will also receive a free McDonald's berm ticket.

PRE-GAME CONCERT on LUTHERAN NIGHT with MONDAY NIGHT BASEBALL  - Monday, June 6 at 7:05 p.m.

Fans can enjoy Monday Night Baseball at Werner Park, which will also include a special pre-game performance from Rejoice Lutheran Church in Omaha at 6 p.m. as part of Lutheran Night. That night will also feature a Monday Markdown special from the Storm Front Team Store that will be available exclusively to fans attending that evening's game.

 

FIVE DOLLAR DAYS - Tuesday, June 7 at 12:05 p.m.

The homestand concludes on Tuesday afternoon with a Five Dollar Day. For just $5, fans can receive an order of nachos with cheese and a medium Pepsi fountain drink.
