JetHawks holding mascot, host tryouts
Individuals interested in becoming KaBoom must be available to work all game nights, make special community appearances, take direction, have phenomenal patience, and have a fun, outgoing, energetic personality. Each participant is required to be in excellent physical condition.
The mascot hiring process will include an audition (including dance, skits and other antics throughout Clear Channel Stadium) and a personal interview. Applicants must prepare their own one-to-two minute skit, including a written description, to be handed to judges along with their application.
The audition process will include the applicant's skit as well as an improvisation scenario that will be given at the audition. Applicants will not dress in the mascot costume at this time, that portion of the audition will be reserved for call back auditions. Applicants should dress in loose clothes that offer a range of mobility.
Those individuals who are interested in becoming the on-field host for the Lancaster JetHawks must also be available to work all game days, and be in excellent physical condition. The on-field host evaluation process will include an audition (including a read into a stadium microphone, several improvisation scenarios that will be given at the audition and a personal interview). Applicants should dress in loose clothes that offer a range of mobility.
