WWE legend Foley here July 29

 

WWE Hall of Famer, New York Times best-selling author, and new General Manager of Monday Night Raw Mick Foley will sign autographs before the Friday, July 29 Red Wings game against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Game time is 7:05 p.m., and the gates and autograph session will begin at 6 p.m.

On the July 18 edition of Monday Night Raw, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon introduced Foley as her choice for GM leading into the July 19 draft on SmackDown Live. 

Foley's appearance here is being presented by Bathtub Billy's Restaurant and Sports Bar on West Ridge Rd. As part of Foley's appearance, lucky fans will have the chance to have lunch with Foley at Bathtub Billy's during the day on July 29; more details on Bathtub Billy's Facebook page.

Foley will sign autographs for fans in the concourse near the Red Wings Hall of Fame from 6 pm until 6:45 pm. He will be featured in a pre-game on-field interview segment presented by Bathtub Billy's, throw out the first pitch, then sign for fans again from 7:05 until 8 pm.

Mick Foley has produced some of the most memorable, spectacular moments in every pro wrestling promotion he has appeared in. He is currently signed to a WWE Legends contract, and his in-ring appearance with "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was one of the highlights of Wrestlemania 32 on April 3.

 

 

He is currently involved in the new WWE Network reality series, "Holy Foley." The series will offer viewers a comedic, behind-the-scenes look into the life of WWE Hall of Famer, husband and father Mick Foley and his unique relationship with his daughter Noelle. The 10-episode, 30-minute family reality series is slated to premiere this August.

Foley attended SUNY Cortland in the 1980's, has family in the Western New York area, and is a noted consumer of Zweigle's hot dogs. His son Dewey, currently a writer's assistant for the WWE, was a Red Wings media relations/online content assistant in 2014.

Foley is also a multiple-time New York Times best-selling author, and a noted philanthropist - supporting RAINN, Child-Fund International, and other causes. Foley has appeared on TV's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Robot Wars, Boy Meets World, Family Feud, ABC's Celebrity Wife Swap, and Fox News' Red Eye with Greg Gutfield.
