Polanco bobblehead, Game of Hope, Mega Fireworks on tap as Curve return to PNG Field

Curve to throwback to the 70s, honor those affected by cancer and offer a fun day for dad over six-game homestand

CURVE, Pa. - The Altoona Curve are back at Peoples Natural Gas Field to face a pair of Eastern League Eastern Division foes as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Hartford Yard Goats come to town. Fans who come out will be able to take in several spectacular Fireworks Shows including Wednesday's MEGA Fireworks - the club's largest show EVER, a Salute to Coffee Night featuring the Gregory "El Coffee" Polanco Bobblehead/Bobblehand giveaway, a special Game of Hope night and much more.

 

Tuesday, June 14 vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats | 7 p.m.

  •          2 For Tuesdays: Fans can take advantage of 2-for-1 specials on tickets, hot dogs and small popcorn every Tuesday in 2016, presented by the Atlantic Broadband.

Wednesday, June 15 vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats| 7 p.m.

  •          MEGA Fireworks:  It's our biggest Fireworks Show EVER in Curve, Pa. Fans have never seen anything like this before in the skies above Peoples Natural Gas Field.
  •          4-Pack Wednesday: Get four tickets, four hot dogs and four regular size sodas for as low as $45.
  •          M&T Bank Card Wednesday: Present your M&T Bank card at the PNG Field box office to save $2 off your ticket to Wednesday's matchup against Erie, presented by M&T Bank.
  •          Student Rush Wednesday: Anyone who brings a current student ID will receive $2 bleacher seats, presented by Loyal Gaming Rewards.
  •          Wing Wednesday: They were a hit last year, so we're bringing back Wing Wednesdays. Get 50-cent wings, with a minimum order of six wings.

Thursday, June 16 vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats | 7 p.m.

  •          70s Night: It'll be a groovy night at PNG Field as the Curve throw it back to the 1970s on Throwback Thursday presented by Rocky 104.9. Fans can take advantage of $1 Kunzler hot dogs, $2 Miller Lite 16 oz. drafts and 22 oz. sodas, and $5 tickets with a College ID. The Curve will also take the field in "Throwback Thursday" jerseys, paying tribute to the inaugural 1999 uniforms worn by the first Altoona Curve Team.
  •          Peoples Natural Gas Customer Appreciation Night: Peoples is thanking all of their customers by supplying tickets to Thursday's game as the Curve close their series against the Fisher Cats. Fans can bring their PNG postcards to the ballpark to redeem them for two tickets to the game.

Friday, June 17 vs. Hartford Yard Goats | 7 p.m.

  •          A Salute to Coffee Night: Who's morning isn't complete without a cup of Joe? Coffee has been a staple to get moving for hundreds of years and it's about time it gets its due recognition. Come celebrate your favorite bean with the Curve. The first 1,500 fans will receive a Gregory Polanco "El Coffee" Bobblehead/Bobblehand courtesy of UniFirst.
  •          FREE Ritchey's Dairy Kids' Club Game: Kids 12-and-under who are members of the Ritchey's Diary Kids Club will receive free entrance to the series opener against the Hartford Yard Goats. The Ritchey's Dairy Kids' Club is a great opportunity for young Curve fans, and it's FREE. Just by signing up, youngsters will get free admission to Kids' Club games, along with other exclusive benefits for being a member.
  •          Miracle League Ball Launch: After each weekend home game, fans can participate in our ball launch game to win prizes from DQ, Panera Bread, and the Curve with proceeds going to the Miracle League of Blair County
  •          Kids Run the Bases: Kids 12 and under may run the bases after every weekend home game in Curve, PA!

Saturday, June 18 vs. Hartford Yard Goats | 6 p.m.

  •          Fireworks: Our ever-popular spectacular fireworks show lights up the skies above Curve, Pa. following the Curve-Yard Goats' game.
  •          Game of Hope:  The Curve are partnering with Relay for Life of Blair County, UPMC Altoona, and WTAJ Your News Leader to raise funds and awareness for combating all forms of cancer. The Curve players will wear a special jersey for the game featuring names listed honoring those affected by cancer.
  •          Scout Night: Come catch a Curve game, then sleep under the stars!
  •          Miracle League Ball Launch:  After each weekend home game, fans can participate in our ball launch game to win prizes from DQ, Panera Bread, and the Curve with proceeds going to the Miracle League of Blair County
  •          Kids Run the Bases: Kids 12 and under may run the bases after every weekend home game in Curve, PA!

Sunday, June 19 vs. Hartford Yard Goats | 6 p.m.

  •          Sunday Night Fireworks:  The Curve close out the homestand with a spectacular fireworks show on Sunday night, presented by Nuts For You.
  •          Father's Day - Pro-State Foundation Prostate Awareness: In order to heighten awareness of prostate cancer, the Pro-State Foundation will be giving away brochures and keychain bats to fans during the Father's Day Game
  •          Fans On-Field Catch:  All fans - especially Father's on this day - can play catch on the outfield grass from 5:00 to 5:25 p.m. thanks to PA Cyber
  •          Miracle League Ball Launch:  After each weekend home game, fans can participate in our ball launch game to win prizes from DQ, Panera Bread, and the Curve with proceeds going to the Miracle League of Blair County
