RoughRiders players visit Miracle League
The RoughRiders Entertainment Crew, mascots and various staff members joined the fun to entertain the players and crowd with various skits during inning breaks.
RoughRiders players pitched to kids, helped them refine their fielding skills and signed autographs for everyone after the games.
Ms. Texas International 2011, Kelli Ansley, also made a special appearance at the event to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids.
"This is the fourth consecutive year we've had RoughRiders Day with the Miracle League of Frisco," Michael Davidow, Director of the RoughRiders Foundation said, "It's grown every year and it's one of those special events our players can't wait to attend."
The Miracle League of Frisco offers baseball, soccer, bowling and other sports opportunities for special needs children ages 5 to 18 with all levels of disabilities throughout the North Texas area.
"The Miracle League of Frisco is thrilled to partner with the Frisco RoughRiders," said Steve Johnson, Board Liaison with the Miracle League of Frisco, "The RoughRiders players, mascots and staff provided a great experience for our players on Saturday."
