WWMB CW21 to broadcast five Pelicans games

Former big leaguer, minor league manager and scout Lloyd Merritt to join broadcast

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (June 24, 2016) - Fans who already follow the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on the Pelicans Baseball Network and MiLB.tv now have another way of watching the club. WWMB CW21 will air all five Pelicans Sunday home games in the second half of the season. The first broadcast is set for 6 p.m. on June 26, when the Birds host the Carolina Mudcats.

Pelicans broadcaster Scott Kornberg will be joined in the booth by former Major League pitcher, minor league manager and instructor and Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves scout Lloyd Merritt.

The complete list of game broadcasts are as follows:

  • Sunday, June 26, at 6 p.m. vs. the Carolina Mudcats
  • Sunday, July 3 at 6 p.m. vs. the Potomac Nationals
  • Sunday, July 24 at 6 p.m. vs. the Wilmington Blue Rocks
  • Sunday, August 7 at 6 p.m. vs. the Carolina Mudcats
  • Sunday, August 21 at 6 p.m. vs. the Lynchburg Hillcats

All Pelicans games are streamed at MyrtleBeachPelicans.com/Broadcast, the MiLB First Pitch app and TuneIn, which is a free download on all mobile devices. MiLB.tv, a subscription-based service, still offers a video stream for all 70 home games and select road games.
