Chiefs host 'Scooch' casting call

The Syracuse Chiefs announced today that they will be holding open auditions to find a new performer for the role of Scooch, the team's popular mascot.

The auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, at the Chiefs' executive offices at Alliance Bank Stadium.

Interested performers should be between 5-foot-3 and 5-9. Prior mascot experience is not necessary. Candidates must be available to work at all 72 Chiefs home games during the 2007 season.
