Ems Announce Promo Schedule, Tickets On Sale May 13th

EUGENE, OR -Time to dig up your old glove and put on your game caps because it's Emeralds baseball season in the Willamette Valley! The 2011 promotional schedule is set, and individual game tickets will go on sale, including tickets for the Fourth of July game, Friday, May 13th-so mark your calendars. Starting May 13th, the Emeralds Box Office, located at 2760 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., will be open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm on non-game days.

Looking at the 2011 promotional schedule, fans can expect to find a new and refreshing spin on game entertainment for all ages. Weekly promos will highlight each day of the week, ranging from Money Saving Mondays and Fireworks Fridays to Microbrew Tuesdays and Thirsty Thursdays. No matter what night fans attend they will be sure to have a good time.

The Ems are also filling the schedule with individually themed nights, bringing back some favorites from the 2010 season like Animal House Night, Star Wars Night, Bring Your Dog to the Park Night and Play Dead Night-a Tribute to the Grateful Dead. New theme nights to look forward to include Military Appreciation Night, Professor Sluggo's Science Night, "Sluggie" Giveaway Night and a special visit from the Zooperstars. All Monday-Saturday games are scheduled for a 7:05 pm first pitch, but the Ems are throwing in some day baseball for Throwback Sundays, a 1:05 pm first pitch*.

June 17th is the big Opening Night for the Ems as they take on the Boise Hawks-you better not miss it. And don't forget the post-game fireworks!
