Shorebirds Return Home on May 13
The homestand opens on Friday, May 13 against the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Florida Marlins) with a Q105 FM fireworks show. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will get the exclusive Shorebirds Blanket sponsored by Holloway Tours. It's also a Big Beer Friday where fans can purchase 32 oz. draft beers for only $6! May 13 is also the first FRITOS Family Friday of the season. Finally, don't forget to take advantage of Friday Family Fun Packs. The series continues on Sunday, May 15 with a "Strike Out Hunger Sunday" to benefit the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. First pitch is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Fans that bring two canned food items to the Shorebirds Box Office on May 15 will receive a general admission ticket for only $1. It's also "Pets in the Park" day. Dogs gain entry to the ballpark for only $1.
The series against Greensboro conludes on Monday, May 16 with a "2 Buck Monday" presented by the CW3. Fans can purchase general admission tickets, Dietz & Watson small hot dogs and small Pepsi drinks for only $2 each!
The Shorebirds open a three-game series against Lakewood on Tuesday, May 17 with KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets: Buy 1 Ticket, Get 1 Free from KRAFT Singles with purchase. The homestand concludes on Thursday, May 19 with a Field of Dreams game presented by Miss Utility.
