UT Baseball Coach David Pierce to Throw Out Ceremonial First Pitch Tonight

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Newly introduced University of Texas head baseball coach David Pierce is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Dell Diamond Friday, July 1 as the Round Rock Express take on the Iowa Cubs. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremonial first pitch is scheduled for 6:55 p.m.

Pierce was introduced as UT's new head coach in a press conference Thursday.

The Express kick off Red, White and Blue Weekend, presented by eBay, tonight with a "Red Out" at the stadium and a postgame fireworks show as part of Bud Light Friday Fireworks.
