Ding, Ding...Take the Trolley to a game
The 2007 excursion schedule will commence on Sunday, May 13 and run every Sunday through August 19.
Passengers will board the trolley at Cedar Avenue and Laurel Line Drive in Scranton. Free parking will be provided on Laurel Line Drive.
The Electric City Trolley, which has a maximum capacity of 50, will depart for PNC Field 45 minutes prior to the start of the Yankees game and leave 20 minutes following the game. Riders will enjoy a scenic 20 minute ride on their way to the game and travel through the 4747 foot long Laurel Line Crown Avenue Tunnel. Upon arrival at PNC Field, fans will exit at the newly constructed station in the left field parking lot.
"The Electric City Trolley is an amazing piece of history that should be enjoyed by many. We are pleased to be able to offer our fans the ability to travel to a game as they did many years ago," said Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees Executive VP/COO Jeremy Ruby.
Tickets for the 2007 excursions are very limited and can only be purchased at PNC Field. Each excursion pass costs just $15 and includes a game ticket, trolley excursion and a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees hat.
