Yefrey Ramirez Named FSL Pitcher of the Week

Tampa, Fla. - The Florida State League named Tampa Yankees RHP Yefrey Ramirez Pitcher of the Week today. This honor was for games played June 27 - July 3, 2016.     

           Ramirez pitched in his first A-Advanced game on June 30th after being promoted from the Charleston RiverDogs. He tossed seven (7) innings allowing only three (3) hits, one (1) earned run, and struck out 11 batters for a 1.29 ERA.

            He was selected by the Yankees from Arizona in the first round of the Triple-A phase of the Rule 5 Draft on 12/10/15.
