North Little Rock, AR - The Midland RockHounds scored twice in the eighth and once in the ninth to come from behind and defeat the Arkansas Travelers 3-1 on Tuesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park.

After being named Texas League Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, RHP Troy Scribner worked seven more scoreless innings and allowed just two hits with no walks and eight strikeouts. Scribner has not allowed a run in five of his last six starts.

Arkansas scored its run in the first inning when LF Caleb Adams stole home. Adams singled with one out in the frame and stole second. After he advanced to third on a fly ball to right, the outfielder stole home on a 2-2 pitch to 1B Eric Aguilera. The infield was playing the lefty Aguilera in a shift to pull which allowed Adams to get an extended lead off third.

Adams and C Jose Briceno both produced three hits for Arkansas. Adams finished 3-for-4 with the two stolen bases and a run scored, and Briceno also went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a triple.

In his A's organizational debut, LHP Brandon Mann worked six innings and allowed the run on seven hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

RHP Andres Avila (W, 3-2) pitched two scoreless innings in relief of Mann and earned the victory. He struck out five.
