Los Leones llegan al 'infierno solar'
Los Leones llegan a la capital del país jugando pelota de .500 de porcentaje, al tener record de 22-22 en ganados y perdidos; ocupan en forma compartida el tercer lugar de la zona sur con los Guerreros de Oaxaca y Piratas de Campeche, por su parte los Diablos Rojos con record de 24 triunfos por 22 descalabros y empatados en el segundo lugar de la zona norte con los Sultanes de Monterrey, jugarán en busca de llegar al liderato de su división, posición a la que se encuentran a un juego de diferencia y que ocupan los Broncos de Reynosa (25-19).
Para esta importante serie, el manager del México Mako Oliveras anuncia como pitchers probables y en el siguiente orden: para el primero de la serie a Elmer Dessens (2-0, 6.75), el martes esta anunciado para abrir Marco Duarte (2-3, 5.86) y para el último del compromiso Salvador Robles (3-2, 3.45); los tres juegos inician en punto de las 19:00 hrs.
En esta temporada los Diablos ya se enfrentaron a los Leones en Mérida, y ganaron la serie 2-1, en esta ocasión los melenudos pagan la visita. La última ocasión que los Leones de Yucatán se enfrentaron a los Diablos Rojos en el Infierno Solar fue en julio del 2008, y el México ganó los dos primeros juegos por pizarras de 15-13 y 8-2, mientras que Yucatán rescató el último de la serie venciendo a la Pandilla Escarlata en un apretado duelo 9-8.
Después de este compromiso, los Diablos Rojos reciben a los Tigres de Quintana Roo para jugar de viernes a domingo en el Infierno Solar, una edición más de la tradicional Guerra Civil, hay que recordar que en los juegos inaugurales entre ambas novenas, cada equipo logró la victoria como visitante, y posteriormente en la visita del México a Cancún, los Diablos ganaron la serie dos juegos a uno, ahora los felinos vendrán a pagar la visita a los Diablos Rojos.
APOYAMOS LA LUCHA CONTRA EL CÁNCER DE MAMA
Como parte de la campaña en contra del cáncer de mama, todos los jugadores de los Diablos Rojos del México usarán los días 10 y 14 de mayo muñequeras color rosa, como muestra de solidaridad y apoyo a todas las mujeres que padecen esta enfermedad.

CELEBREMOS JUNTOS EL DÍA DE LAS MADRES
Este martes 10 de mayo, en lo que será el segundo juego de la serie entre los Leones de Yucatán y el México, los Diablos Rojos festejaremos el Día de la Madres con varias sorpresas que tenemos preparadas para las Reinas del Hogar.
De 6:00 a 6:30 dos símbolos de los Diablos Rojos, Sergio "el Kaliman" Robles y Maximino León, estarán dando la bienvenida a las mamás que nos acompañen y lleguen durante este horario e ingresen por la puerta E del Infierno Solar.
Se seleccionara a una Mamá, para que este día cante la voz de playball para el segundo de la serie, también tendremos concursos en los que las ganadoras podrán llevarse aparatos electrodomésticos.
DIA DEL IMPERMEABLE Como parte del festejo por el Día de las Madres, este martes, previo al segundo juego de la serie contra los Leones de Yucatán, los Diablos Rojos del México por cortesía de Banamex, entregarán impermeables a las primeras mamás que asistan desde las 5:00 de la tarde al Infierno Solar.
