A Night for Sight Seeing, RiverDogs Rained Out in Asheville

Charleston to play doubleheader with Tourists starting tomorrow at 5:05pm

ASHEVILLE, NC -After an hour of sporadic storms passing through and delaying the first pitch, the RiverDogs' opener with the Asheville Tourists was postponed on Thursday night at McCormick Field. The RiverDogs will play a doubleheader with the Tourists on Friday at 5:05pm in a pair of scheduled 7-inning games.

The RiverDogs will send RHP Domingo German (0-1, 5.40) in game one to face RHP Ryan McCormick (0-0, 6.43) of Asheville. In game two, Charleston will trot out RHP Cody Carroll (2-3, 3.32) as the Tourists counter with RHP Peter Lambert (3-6, 2.97). 

Fans can tune into game one of the doubleheader starting at 5pm on riverdogs.com and the TuneIn Radio app. The broadcast will go live on 1250 WTMA starting at 7pm.

The RiverDogs finish out their weeklong road trip with a four day weekend in Asheville before returning home to The Joe for a weeklong homestand from July 12-18.
