Summary
Harrisburg's Michael Brady hurled six innings of one-hit baseball and combined with two relievers for a 7-0, shutout victory over the Akron RubberDucks in the opener of a three-game series Friday night at FNB Field.

Turning Point
Harrisburg (46-40) sent eight batters to the plate and scored three time in the second inning against Akron starter Michael Peoples (6-4). With men on first and second and one out, Stephen Perez singled to right field, but the ball was misplayed by Clint Frazier, allowing Drew Ward to score the game's first run. Khayyan Norfork followed with an RBI groundout to make it 2-0. After an infield single by Rafael Bautista, the Senators pulled off a double steal with Perez scoring to extend the lead to 3-0.

Winging It
Brady (2-2) was sensational for the Senators. The 29-year-old right-hander worked six shutout innings and allowed only one hit-a double by Eric Stamets in the fourth inning. He walked one and fanned five. Wander Suero chipped in two scoreless innings of relief, striking out four. Closer Robert Benincasa chipped in a scoreless ninth to complete the whitewash. For Akron, Peoples could not overcome a season-high six walks. He left after allowing three straight hits to start the fifth inning. He left two men on base, both of which scored against reliever Cole Sulser.

Duck Tales
Frazier doubled off Suero in the seventh, and finished 1-3, with a walk. Stamets was 1-4. Ivan Castillocollected the third Akron hit, a two-out single in the eighth. It was the seventh shutout loss of the season for the RubberDucks.
