Mayfield, Moon at Calallen Whataburger Friday

CORPUS CHRISTI - Hooks infielders Jack Mayfield and Chan-Jong Moon will sign autographs and visit with fans between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday at the Calallen Whataburger location, 4021 IH-69 Access Road just north of FM 624.

KFTX-FM has scheduled a live remote broadcast.

Mayfield returned to Corpus Christi on June 30 after a nearly two-month stint at Triple-A Fresno. The Del Rio native and University of Oklahoma alum has aided the offensive attack, recording four home runs to account for half of his July hits. Mayfield posted six RBIs for the Hooks during their recent 4-2 road trip through Springfield and Tulsa.

A native of Seoul, South Korea, Moon has a .250 average in 2016 during his second Corpus Christi campaign. The 25-year-old has been a member of the Astros organization since 2009.
