Baysox Host Harry Potter Night, July 23

Event Features Pre-Game Quidditch Match

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox today announce Harry Potter Night Saturday, July 23 at Prince George's Stadium as the Baysox take on the Erie SeaWolves at 6:35 p.m. The event will include a pre-game Quidditch Match, Sorting Hat demonstration for kids and other themed-displays around the stadium concourse from members of the Chestertown Harry Potter Festival.

The DC Quidditch Club will be in attendance at the game and will compete in a pre-game Quidditch Match for fans to experience. In conjunction with the Owl Moon Raptor Center, Adventures with Raptors will also be bringing four owls to display during the game and representatives from the Chestertown Harry Potter Festival will have several large displays around the concourse for fans to take pictures with and interact with.

"We are very excited to be bringing our first ever Harry Potter Night to P.G. Stadium," said Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers. "Not only will fans have the opportunity to see a championship-caliber Quidditch match live, but there will be numerous displays bringing the books and movies to life for those who have followed the series. The opportunities for kids to experience the 'Sorting Hat' or learn Quidditch on the field before the game are not ones that should be missed."

Fireworks are scheduled following the Baysox game on Harry Potter Night. Single game tickets may be purchased in advance online HERE or by calling the Baysox Ticket Office at 301-464-4865.
